Once we receive all of your information and you accept our offer we will dispatch the inspection company. Inspection time can vary. It averages 2-5 days. When we receive the inspection and review it we will fund you and arrange transportation. Please be honest concerning the condition of the truck to ensure a smooth transaction.
Once your equipment is inspected we will send you a wire transfer and schedule transportation. If you prefer another method of payment, it can be discussed.
Our offers are a combination of current auction values, trade values, and the current market. These numbers are averaged to calculate the offer you receive. So feel confident knowing you are being offered a great price reflective of the current market.
Nothing is stopping you of course. Retail sales take time. You have to talk to countless potential buyers and take several test drives to find the right buyer. Are you insured for those test drives? Then, if they need to be financed, that is a time consuming process and approval is no guarantee. After this process and negotiating the price they can just back out. You can repeat this process several times before you find a qualified buyer. How much is your time worth?
Of course they are. That's how they keep you on the phone. The promise of more! Today's auction results are no guarantee of tomorrow's results. What about a reserve? You can set your reserve but when it doesn't hit the reserve it will not sell and you will have to wait until the next auction run to try again. When your equipment finally sells, auction fees will have to be paid out of all proceedings as well. There is the risk of arbitration if something is found that was not previously disclosed when the buyer shows up to get the equipment. If you cannot come to a resolution the buyer accepts than the sale is voided. And let's not forget about the non paying winning bidders and the equipment needing to sit until the next auction.
No one likes getting unsolicited calls. Resellers mass call registered DOT numbers. Most work from their homes trying to find trucks for sale and then sell those trucks to us or other dealers. They risk nothing and can easily tell you they cannot pay you after wasting days or weeks of your time trying to get one of us to buy the equipment. When they call you they will use the famous line "we can pay you more". But if you fall for it you're just wasting your time. Then, when you realize you have wasted your time and go to a reputable buyer like us, the values could have gone down depending on how long has gone by. Don't waste your time. Avoid those calls and tell them you already deal with SELLYOURTRUCKS. Hang up and block their number. If we can help you avoid those calls we will.

The short answer is maybe. The fourth question above talks about selling retail. There is the possibility of selling to an end user for a slightly higher price. How much is your time worth? Other reasons for higher pricing online - You will see some dealers listing some units at much higher numbers not reflective of current values. This happens for many reasons. They hope to find someone that doesn't know any better. They bought the truck during different market conditions and have been sitting on it and they are upside down on the equipment. On the other hand, They can use this higher number to give the illusion they are negotiating in your favor when they come down. Also, they could be trying to absorb rebates or down payments. Then there are the listings by owner that are usually way over priced. If an owner is selling equipment from time to time they are not in tune with the market prices that we see from selling all day every day.
If you have a loan balance please let us know up front. We can work with you and pay the balance to the lender on your behalf. If our purchase number is higher than your loan balance we will send you the additional funds. The bank will then forward the title to us directly. Banks can be slow so this process can take slightly longer.

After the initial form or email is received we will reach out to you. You can talk to our representatives by phone if you would like. Emails are great for keeping a log of communications. We prefer that method. But once we have an agreed price you can speak to a live representative by phone any time within business hours. This hours are 9AM - 5PM. Monday through Friday.
On occasion we will buy a non runner when the owners expectations match what the truck is worth.
